Types of Editing
Essays
Essays may require proofreading or content editing, and I can help you at any stage in the writing process. An outline will give you a strong start to your essay. Outlines are usually written as bulleted or numbered lists. If you give me a finished essay, it will be easier and faster for me to edit it if you send your original outline to me along with your essay, so please send both. I can also help you create your outline.
Teaching Materials
I can help create a variety of teaching materials. For example, I can edit textbooks or create pages on Canvas. My background in various subjects allows me to check the content of mathematical or scientific text for accuracy and lucidity as well as other subjects in the humanities. I can also suggest additional content that may be needed.
Works of Fiction
I enjoy reading novels and short stories, and offer both proofreading and content editing. I love being part of the development process.
It is especially important for self-published authors to find a good editor, since they won't have the extra help of a large publishing house, although it is important to remember that even when submitting to a publisher it is expected that manuscripts will already have been proofread.

To help with your resume effectively, we will need to work together closely to make sure that your skills and achievements shine, getting the recognition they deserve. I can start with a resume you have already created, or ask you a few questions to get started on something new.
It is good to note that formatting has changed a little recently, as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are commonly used to sort through resumes, and simple formatting that is searchable by ATS software helps ensure that your resume gets through the initial screening. I can quickly explain to you what type of formatting is best for ATS compatibility.
