About Me
I love animals, and have Mini Australian Shepherds which keep me company as I work on my computer, and love to go with me on car trips — they don't seem to care where we end up; it's the journey that counts. I go hiking with them often, and bring treats with me so they're completely convinced that I'm awesome. My cats treat me with benevolent tolerance, and try to sleep on my face at night because they haven't quite caught on that I'm mildly allergic to them.
I like to work on-the-go in a coffee shop, my garden, or even on car trips. It's great that so much of my work can go with me places, so working on my editing or tutoring can be like a little vacation (albeit one that is full of deadlines.)
I love sharing what I've learned about writing because our written language is what allows us to cross the centuries and "speak" to the many generations throughout history, gathering all the knowledge that came before us so we can continually strive for higher goals. Even something as simple as an email to an old friend becomes more meaningful with thoughtful writing techniques. Personally, I enjoy journaling because I feel that a journal allows us to grow, and explore the world around us more fully.
